Ron and his wife Jeanie Live in Huntsville, Utah and are the parents of 4 children and 10 Grandchildren.

Ron began his career in the Heavy Haul industry in 1987 working for Savage Industries in their Heavy Haul division. He worked as a driver, rigging crew supervisor, dispatcher, in the marketing department, and finally as the manager of the Heavy Haul division.

In 1997, Intermountain Rigging purchased the Heavy Haul division from Savage and became Intermountain Rigging & Heavyhaul (IRH). Ron became the President of that company at that time and has served in that capacity until IRH was acquired by Omega Morgan in 2023.

Omega Morgan is a member of the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA) and Ron has served on the Permit Policy Committee for 20 years and has served as the Chairman of that committee and also as the Safety Committee Chairman. Ron served as Chairman of the transportation group, President, and Chairman of the Board of the SC&RA. He was appointed as a member of the Utah Governor’s Transportation Advisory Board, and several other boards and committees related to the specialized transportation industry.
